SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2017 - Royal Randwick

Rail: Out 3m Entire Circuit

BROADSIDE (Race 2, 12.50pm, 2400m, No. 1, jockey Tim Clark, 58kg).
Broadside (Raise The Flag/Anam Cara) six-year-old gelding. Broadside is coming off an all the way win last start in the Group 3 Newcastle Gold Cup over the 2300m. He has come through the run very well, he's been fresh in himself this week as he backs up on Saturday but he is well and truly ready to make it back to back wins in a very small field. Strong winning chance.

DEE I CEE (Race 2, 12.50pm, 2400m, No. 2, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 57.5kg).
Dee I Cee (Istidaad/Smashed All Night) six-year-old gelding. Dee I Cee has been a touch disappointing since his win second up this preparation in the Listed Premier's Cup. It would be silly not to take advantage of the small field on Saturday, he will certainly appreciate the step up to the 2400 metres and we are expecting an improved run. Each-way chance.

DARK EYES (Race 5, 2.35pm, 1500m, No. 7, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 54.5kg).
Dark Eyes (Snitzel/Cinnamon Dove) five-year-old gelding. It's a tough ask for Dark Eyes on Saturday first up in a Group 3 affair over the 1500 metres, however, it's a nice starting point for him as he kicks off his spring campaign. He will strip fitter for the run tomorrow and he'll prove competitive. Each way-chance.

GOLD STANDARD (Race 7, 3.55pm, 1400m, No. 4, jockey Tommy Berry, 56.5kg).
Gold Standard (Sebring/Coniston Gem) three-year-old colt. This colt could not be looking better heading into tomorrow's Group 1 affair. He is gleaming in his coat, he looks fantastic in his condition and he hasn't put a foot wrong this week leading into the run. There is no denying that it's an incredibly strong field on Saturday but this guy is right there in the mix and he'll prove exceedingly competitive as Tommy Berry flies in from Hong Kong to take the ride. Strong winning chance.

SWEET REDEMPTION (Race 8, 4.35pm, 1400m, No. 3, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 56.5kg).
Sweet Redemption (Snitzel/Redeeming Lass) five-year-old mare. The mare didn't race to expectations last start and her big first-up performance took a bit out of her. The track was very hard at Wyong which she was feeling but we know she is a much better horse than we saw. Saturday's race looks favourable, her work has been consistent and strong this week and we are expecting a much improved run. Solid winning chance.

SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2017 - Caulfield

Rail: Out 9m Entire Circuit

JOYFILLY OURS (Race 1, 12.00pm, 1400m, No. 7, jockey Beau Mertens, 55kg).
Joyfilly Ours (Highly Recommended/When The Cats Away) three-year-old filly. Joyfilly Ours was disappointing first up last start at Randwick, however she did a few things wrong. She has since made the trip south and has thrived in her work since. The race on Saturday is an easier contest and she is stepping up in trip which will certainly suit. Expect a bold showing. Strong each-way chance.

STAMPEDE (Race 7, 3.35pm, 2000m, No. 6, jockey Beau Mertens, 58kg).
Stampede (High Chaparral/Nothin' Leica Cat) five-year-old entire. There is not a bad word to say about this horse. He won sensationally well last start around Moonee Valley which is a tricky track and often described as a grave yard for first timers. he has only come on from the run and with the talented and in-form jockey on board, he is in this race up to his ears. Excellent winning chance.

PROMPT RESPONSE (Race 8, 4.15pm, 1200m, No. 1, jockey Stephen Baster, 58kg).
Prompt Response (Beneteau/Prompt) four-year-old mare. This mare has never run a bad race in her life and we expect her to keep it that way on Saturday. She has relished the trip down south as is loving her new environment at Flemington. She has drawn top weight on Saturday but she's drawn well in barrier 1 and it looks a very nice starting point for her this campaign as she heads towards the Group 2 Blazer Stakes on her home track in 2 weeks' time. Solid each way chance in a strong field.

SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2017 - Kembla Grange

Rail: Out 4m Entire Circuit

STONEBROOK (Race 1, 12.34pm, 1200m, No. 2, jockey Tom Sadler, 59kg).
Stonebrook (Hinchinbrook/Calaluna) four-year-old gelding. Stonebrook couldn't look better heading into Saturday. He rates the short priced favourite in a very small field and based on his gallop last Saturday against Gold Standard (who is heading to the Group 1 Golden Rose this weekend) he'll prove very tough to run down. He is one from one this gelding and we expect him to continue his unbeaten record on Saturday. Excellent winning chance.

PREFERITO (Race 4, 2.19pm, 1200m, No. 2, jockey Blake Spriggs, 59kg).
Preferito (Choisir/Cariad) four-year-old gelding. He has been quite disappointing this preparation and was very flat last start over the 1400m so we have decided to drop him back in trip and try again. He is rock hard fit, he rates well on paper and we are hoping for an improved showing on Saturday. Each-way chance.

MISTY LAD (Race 4, 2.19pm, 1200m, No. 8, jockey Tom Sadler, 58.5kg).
Misty Lad (Redoute's Choice/Anadan) three-year-old colt. Misty Lad has always shown good ability but he has just taken a little time to mature and find his feet. He has had a bit of time between runs, including a trial just to freshen him up and his work of late has been faultless. He has certainly come on from his first up run and he'll be right there in the finish on Saturday. Strong winning chance.

SUNDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 2017 - Wyong

Rail: Out 2m Entire Circuit

CINCITY (Race 1, 1.00pm, 1600m, No. 3, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 58.5kg).
Cincity (Sebring/Cinnamon Bells) three-year-old gelding. Cincity was promising on debut last start but he is just looking for a trip which is what he will get on Sunday. He steps up considerably in trip but he has taken no ill effect from his last start and has been bouncing around the track his week ahead of his next assignment. He will put in a big run over the mile on the quick back up. Solid each-way chance.

ANTONIO'S PRIDE (Race 2, 1.40pm, 1350m, No. 1, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 59kg).
Antonio's Pride (Smart Missile/Alalunga) four-year-old gelding. Antonio's Pride was very one paced first up last start but did well to hang on for third. He has stripped fitter for the run, he steps up slightly in trip and he'll show nice improvement from last start. Winning chance.

RED ZEPHYR (Race 5, 3.32pm, 1200m, No. 3, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 58kg).
Red Zephyr (Snitzel/Red Typhoon) three-year-old colt. This colt has always shown nice ability and he put in some promising runs last preparation. He has time to mature and strengthen, he has had the two solid trials this campaign and he looks in very good order heading into his first up run on Sunday. He'll run well and rates nicely on paper. Winning chance.
